  • Synopsis April 11, 6:30PM <strong>Presented by the Kansas City Zoo</strong> <strong>Special Event Screening: The Black Mambas with Special Guests:  </strong><strong>Craig Spencer, Goodness Mhlanga, and Film Director Bruce Donnelly</strong> &nbsp; <strong>Panel Discussion following the screening with Randy Wistoff, CEO/Executive Director of the Kansas City Zoo, Craig Spencer, Goodness Mhlanga, and Bruce Donnelly, moderated by Mike Wood</strong> As dawn breaks over the western edge of South Africa's Kruger National Park, a group of local African Women, known as The Black Mambas, are setting out into the open bush, unarmed. In response to the increasing threat of bushmeat and rhino horn poaching, a crisis that has had immediate and dire consequences on the well-being of their families and communities, these women have decided to take matters into their own hands.
