- Synopsis Magic Hour takes place on the bustling street level of modern day Hollywood. Our protagonist is Max, a once famous magician who is now just struggling to survive. We follow the aging entertainer as he has a brush with death and begins the campaign for a comeback. A chance encounter with a beautiful out of towner has the two strangers experiencing an unexpected night that will change them both forever.
